The Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
Design, build and operate our Kubernetes-based infrastructure across multiple environments.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe deployments.
Own core cloud infrastructure (VPC, networking, security, storage, identity) using Infrastructure-as-Code.
Improve our observability stack (logging, metrics, tracing) and lead incident response and post-mortems.
Work closely with backend, data and ML teams to understand their workloads and build scalable, secure solutions.
Drive best practices around reliability, performance, cost optimisation and security.
Contribute to internal tooling in Python/Go/TypeScript to automate workflows and improve developer productivity.
Tech Stack (you don’t need all of these)
Cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure
Orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize
IaC: Terraform, Pulumi or similar
CI/CD: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / CircleCI / ArgoCD
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Loki/ELK
Languages: Python, Go, TypeScript (or similar)
What We’re Looking For
3+ years’ experience as Infrastructure Engineer, SRE or Platform Engineer.
Strong experience running Kubernetes in production (deployments, upgrades, debugging, networking, autoscaling).
Solid understanding of Linux, containers, networking, security.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider.
Comfortable working with infrastructure as code and modern CI/CD.
Ability to debug complex distributed systems and get to root cause quickly.
A pragmatic mindset: you care about shipping reliable systems, not just playing with tech.
Nice to Have
Experience in high-growth startups or other fast-moving environments.
Background working with data/ML workloads (batch + streaming).
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases at scale.
Participation in on-call rotations and incident management.
