About the Role
This role is working for a 12 person startup with the ability to make a huge impact straight away and a high bar for engineering. The right engineer will design and engineer systems that handle the compute, scheduling, and orchestration of complex ML pipelines that need to run quickly, reliably, and cost-effectively on large sums of video.
Requirements
Requirements:
2+ years experience working in-depth on infra projects at larger startups or in big tech
Ability to build scalable systems in various languages (currently use Go, Python, & Rust) in the Cloud
Know how to optimize at the lowest level of the product
Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and building infrastructure at scale.
Background:
Interest in applications of AI in video or audio
Must have some previous experience at a startup
Computer science background at a top university (i.e. Berkeley, CMU, MIT, Stanford)
Able to balance speed/urgency with caution and attention to detail.
