About the Role
A quickly scaling startup is looking for a Backend Infrastructure Engineer to build out its video processing AI platform with a hybrid work environment (3 days onsite) and a strong culture of excellence they are looking for the best and have a strong team of 50 that is rapidly growing jump onboard the rocketship!
Requirements
Backend/Infrastructure Responsibilities:
Design systems to scale our cloud video processing services. Solve engineering challenges related to performance, quality, and reliability of video editing.
Develop infrastructure for distributed computing workloads, maximizing performance while minimizing cost.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for identifying application performance bottlenecks on a website serving 10 million visitors per month.
Create a culture of engineering excellence by refining our processes, documentation, and cross-functional systems.
Requirements:
3+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraformm, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation)
3+ years experience managing Kubernetes clusters
Scaled backend and infrastructure systems for applications with inconsistent workloads (Machine Learning workloads)
Experience with application monitoring systems and logging systems
Proficiency in NoSQL database management and applying best practices to query optimization and security.
3+ years experience developing production-level Python code
Video engineering work (FFMPEG, machine vision, video players, ImageMagick, etc)
