About the Role
The Role
As Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer (Founding) you’ll design, build and scale the systems that power:
Large-scale video ingestion and processing
Multimodal model training and inference
Real-time search and analytics over video content
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role: you’re not just keeping clusters alive; you’re shaping the architecture from the ground up and setting the standards for how infra is done.
Requirements
What They’re Looking For
5+ years building and deploying AI/ML or high-scale infra in production.
Strong background with GCP (or AWS), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with large-scale data or video processing (e.g. heavy file IO, encoding, streaming, batch pipelines).
Comfortable designing and operating distributed systems: queues, workers, microservices, storage layers.
Confident owning services end-to-end – from design docs and implementation through rollout, monitoring and on-call.
Happy in a founding-team environment: low process, high ambiguity, fast decision cycles.
Nice to have
Prior work with multimodal or vision models (video, images, audio).
Experience in media, creator tools, video platforms or similar domains.
Track record as an early engineer setting up infra from scratch.

Partnered with Early-stage, well-funded AI startup building agents that can watch, understand and analyse video so humans don’t have to. Their platform turns huge volumes of video into structured, searchable, actionable data for global media and enterprise customers.
They’ve closed seed funding and already landed major contracts – now they need a senior infra engineer to own the core AI + video infrastructure.
